About Me

HI! I'm Kelsa, and I'm SO glad you're here!!!

There are bookoodles of hairstylists and Origami Owl Independent Designers out there. There are people endlessly offering the next "get rich quick scheme"(which I actually don't offer). So what makes me different? Why would you choose ME to do your hair? Why would you buy your Living Lockets from ME? Why would you want to join MY Origami Owl team? Well, because there may be tons of people that do what I do...but there's only one Kelsa Turner! Okay, there could be more I suppose...but I do have a unique name, and I'm sure you get me. But I digress.

This blog is a place for you to get to know me, the real me, so that you can get an idea of who I am and what I'm all about, and then you can decide if you want to work with me! 

In case you haven't gathered so far, I'm a hairstylist and an Independent Designer with Origami Owl. I LOVE what I do. I love the freedom. I love the people. I love the art and creativity. I live in a small, mountain town. I love it! If we ever meet face-to-face just remember I am MUCH more quiet and calm in person...until I get warmed up, then watch out! I drink coffee or hot tea pretty much daily. I love to read, though I don't as much as I want to. I've been married going on 2 years to the most wonderful, amazing man. Seriously, I have been very blessed in that department. Well pretty much in every part of my life! I'm 5'0 and I don't mind, until I have to reach something or can't see from behind someone. Pretty Little Liars is my guilty pleasure. I hate to clean. I like to cook, most days. I have a border collie/black lab mix named Roscoe. I'm obsessed with stationary...journals, pens, planners, washi tape, and the like. I'm also obsessed with purses. I love good deals and thrift shopping. I love any shopping. I'm a Christian and not ashamed of it, but please take time to get to know me before stereotyping me as someone who is hypocritical or a hater. My favorite color palate right now is teal/aqua/mint. I pretty much stay chilly, so you'll find me snuggled up in a sweater or blanket most of the time. I've been known to completely loose track of time sitting and staring out my living room window with a cup of coffee.

Seriously, who wouldn't loose track of time looking out at that!?!?

Well that's it for now, the true "about me" section is this whole blog. So you have to read the WHOLE THING...GO! Just kidding. Not kidding. This blog isn't just about me. It's chock-full of great ideas, tips, inspiration. Just read it. For real.
